This webinar will examine the evidence on cancer among people with intellectual disabilities, including cancer incidence and mortality, screening uptake and coverage, and patterns of inequality in access to prevention and early detection. It will explore how these data can be used to prioritise action, guide service planning, and inform more inclusive and equitable cancer prevention and screening policies. By bringing together epidemiological evidence and practical implications for policy and practice, the session aims to strengthen understanding of how data-driven approaches can contribute to reducing cancer inequalities and improving outcomes for people with intellectual disabilities.
